Skin Rarity
All of us know that there are skins each person on this planet has in abundance and there are some that no one apart from one alien friend living on mars owns.
Skins in overwatch are divided mainly in five categories depending on their rarity in the game and hence their value in the market.
Common – As the name suggests, common skins are the ones that appear with the character by default. There is only one common skin for each of the heroes.
Rare- For every common skin there are four different colour combinations that blizzard has comically named “Rare”. These skins are not exactly rare per se, but can only be found in non-seasonal loot boxes as of now.
Epic- Again, most epic skins are advanced renditions of the base skin the characters are defaulted with. Some of these epic skins are also have a three-dimensional distinctions with them, added to create a vibrant look for the heroes. These skins can be found in seasonal loot boxes.
Legendary- The forth tier in the list is actually where the majority of the changes can be found. With these skins your heroes will look completely different because they do not just alter the color of your character like the previous skins, but along with it they bring a change in weapon models too.
Legendary skins can most commonly be acquired through base and seasonal loot boxes.
Mythic- This category is the original addition in Overwatch 2. Mythic Overwatch Skins carry the flavour of the concurrent season’s theme with them.
And just like the most exquisite items in real life, Mythic skins are customizable to a great extent where players can use their imagination and create magic (Can you?). The best thing about these skins are that they will also change how your character originally spoke their line. How to get free Overwatch Skins?

What are the best Overwatch Skins?
Skins are an extremely personal choice with each player having their own likes and dislikes. But with more than 500 skins in the game it is practically impossible for everyone through all of them in the game.
Thanks to our profession we got to try most of these skins in our working hours (These stunts are performed by trained professionals in a controlled enviornment. Do not try these at home :P) Below is a selection of the best Overwatch Skins you can find.
Junker Queen- Punker Queen
The punk queen that owns the Jagged Blade and the ‘Carnage’ ability has been a total block buster since the launch of the game. Junker Queen’s original look resembles a lot to the punk culture with her fishnets and all the jazz.
The punker queen elevates the look and feel to the right notch. With the rocking blue mohawk and the badass fishnets.
Sigma- Talon
Sigma’s Asylum look is heavily inspired by Anthony Hopkins’ character from the movie Silence of the Lambs and was quite loved by players around the world.
The talon skin is personally loved by our team. Come on, who wouldn’t like the skin that captures the hero from the original title in it’s true personality.
Symmetra- Dragon
The light bending character that has the ability to manipulate things magically has one of the best skins in the overwatch universe. The halloween terror exclusive skin unlike most overwatch skins completely transforms symmetra’s look in the game.
The dragon skin not only replaces her base skin with horns and a scaled body but it actually glows giving the body a lava like glory. Her body now has horns and a spiked leg armor which is honestly, amazeballs!
Sojourn- Commando
No one can question the fact that Sojourn is one of the if not the most gangster girl in the Overwatch series. She has the abilities that can lay damage to whatever comes her way.
Being a Canadian she can don anything and rock the shit out of it in the truest sense. But, The commondo skin is what we feel truly brings her essence out in the open.
McCree- Lifeguard Skin
The lifeguard skin is not only one of the coolest looking skins in the game but what we love the most about the skin is how it changes the gaming experience with it.
For example, while wearing the lifeguard skin if you summon a tumbleweed, you will summon a beach ball. It also replaces the boot sound with the flapping sound of flip flops. The fun part doesn’t end here, when throwing a flashbang, McCree screams “No running!”
How to get free Overwatch Skins?
Free Skins! These words are sure to make most heads turn around if they are remotely connected to the gaming world. Overwatch is one of those games where gamers love to play around with skins and see how their hero look in the new attire.
The better news this year has been that Blizzard Entertainment, the game’s developer will be distributing free skins. Not just for a few boring characters, but for each hero in the game including the ones added in the second game of the hit series including Sojourn, Junker Queen and Kiriko.
